Darkest Before The Dawn by Anna Ward – is a work created as I worked through the news of my brothers cancer diagnosis and witnessing of his treatment journey. I feel it relates to anyone who’s been through challenging times and listened to the inner whispers of hope. This art work was my way of trying to find equilibrium depicted with black and white, while holding onto hope (represented in gold). Even amongst the heaviness of life, we can still open ourselves up to miraculous light and possibilities. After all miracles happen every day…. I’m so grateful my brother is still with us today.
